A mould-oriented design of the components enables high product quality with high production efficiency. At the same time, project costs and production times are reduced sustainably. With our standardised prototype moulds, we can manufacture your components in the desired material on our machines in our technical centre in a near-series design and, if necessary, replicate your follow-up process as meaningfully as possible. The information and experience gained from this increases the security in the implementation of the series mould. For achieving your goals.
Near-series prototyping
We see the main advantage of near-series prototyping in testing the feasibility of ideas and development results at an early stage so that they can be quickly and precisely turned into reality in the next stage – and in a particularly cost-efficient way.
Feasibility Analysis
Assessing the feasibility of a product idea in LSR or HTV.
Time
Ensuring the chosen approach costs much less time than counteracting it in the current project.
Cost-effectiveness
Error prevention through knowledge instead of “trial & error” in the current project.
Pre-series components
Real workpieces are produced and can be subjected to measuring and testing procedures.
Feasibility Analysis
To evaluate the feasibility, your component is manufactured in the desired series LSR or HTV raw material with standardised silicone prototype moulds in a near-series design.
To do this, we reproduce your desired production process on silicone injection moulding machines as meaningfully as possible: injection, venting and demoulding can be realistically checked for plausibility and functionality.
As a result, we gain the necessary security for the feasibility of the product idea and the process of LSR / HTV silicone series production.
Time
The philosophy of near-series prototype production is a preparatory measure. Usually, the silicone prototypes can already be installed in pilot series and tested for functionality.
The information gained on the shrinkage behaviour of the LSR or HTV as well as the geometric and physical properties of the silicone components can now be used immediately for any necessary changes to the articles and the design of the silicone series moulds.
The additional effort caused by the upstream performance is now made up for by the experience and security gained in the implementation of the series moulds.
Cost-effectiveness
Both the certainty of feasibility and the time savings bring an improved costs situation. We only reduce the effort required to provide your silicone prototypes by implementing mould plates and contour cores.
The relatively small investment secures the technology of the series moulds and avoids bad investments on a large scale.
This also closes the circle to time savings in the current project.
Pre-series components
Real test procedures require real, near-series components. These are implemented promptly in prototype tools and can be subjected to measurement and testing procedures. Subsequent optical or dimensional corrections are also possible. All in the sense of the fastest possible final product definition.
